The I.S. Hankins/F.A. Johnson Education Foundation of the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. held their commemorative luncheon to remember and celebrate Dr. King’s efforts and triumph in race equality.

On Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11am the 31st Annual MLK Commemorative Luncheon took place at the Church Street Station Ballroom. The keynote speaker was author, journalist, and political analyst Joy-Ann Reid of MSNBC.

Proceeds from this event supported our Education Foundation which provides college scholarships to local high school students and funds our Young Men of Distinction (YMOD) male mentoring program.  Community leaders and organizations were recognized at the luncheon for their contributions to the community with the prestigious Drum Major Award!
